Magical Dining is finally here! We were invited to taste The Ravenous Pig’s menu for Magical Dining Month. Of course, it’s wonderful.
Shrimp & Grits
The first time I ate at Ravenous Pig years ago, I tried the Shrimp & Grits. Made with Cape Canaveral Shrimp, Anson Mills Grits, Green Tomato Chutney, and Chorizo Oil – it’s hard to beat.
Fresh and colorful with Baby Greens, Avocado, Pickled Beets, Radish, Goat Cheese, Pistachio Granola, and Herb Vinaigrette – this salad is a great way to start your evening.
If you’re a fan of Steak Tartare, or even if you’ve never tried it – now is your chance. This is Steak Tartare with Capers, Egg, Shallot & Toast.
The Mushroom Risotto with Summer Mushrooms, Parmesan Broth, and Chili Oil is gorgeous. Black Truffle may be ordered as an additional supplement to each dish. The Black Truffle enhanced the already delicious Risotto.
The Pork Chop is a flavorsome dish with Sweet Potato Purée, Collard Greens, and Onion Jam.
The Black Grouper, with Chana Masala and Cucumber Riata, makes for a flavorful and savory 2nd Course.
For dessert, you have the option of the Spiced Citrus Cake or Coffee Panna Cotta. For those of you with a sweet tooth, either dessert will hit the spot. The Spiced Citrus Cake comes with Elderflower Chantilly, Bay Leaf Crumble, and Poached Pears. The Coffee Panna Cotta with Grape Sorbet, Chocolate Cardamom Shortbread, and Compressed Grapes.
We wouldn’t expect anything less than wonderful from The Ravenous Pig. Thank you for having us. Make sure to stop here during Magical Dining Month.
