Firstly, we would like to thank Head Chef Kyle Anderson and the entire team at ‘Siro: Urban Italian Kitchen’ for what was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was impeccable, as was the service. Thank you for hosting us.
We got started with a delightful Salumi & Formaggi board, and a Caesar salad consisting of mixed baby romaine, parmesan, and pretzel bread croutons, both very fresh and delicious.
We had the privilege of sampling a few dishes that were not yet on the menu. One of them was a stunning Ravioli dish that’s certain to be a big hit. The Mussels with chorizo, pimentón broth, and grilled bread were outstanding.
The Gnocchi was cooked to perfection in a buttery chive sauce, with mushrooms and crispy pancetta.
We were served an array of delightful cocktails, each cocktail complimenting our dishes perfectly.
The Black Pepper Fettuccine was served with duck confit, roasted mushrooms, seminole pumpkin, parmesan broth, and a duck egg. The duck was extremely tender and delicious. It was complimented perfectly by the Black Pepper Fettuccine, and was nothing short of amazing. The Tile Fish followed, a seafood lovers dream, so fresh and delightful. I don’t have a bad word to say about any of these dishes. They were both superb and packed with flavor.
The Prime Ribeye was pan-seared, served with little potatoes, roasted wild mushrooms, cauliflower, scallion agrodolce, and pickled shallot butter. It was cooked perfectly, and served with an absolutely delicious risotto.
Every dish here is superb, very colorful, and rich in flavor.
Now it’s time to talk dessert. When you think of Italian desserts you think amazing, amazing, amazing, and that is exactly what we got! The warm Zeppolis were a taste sensation (Italian doughnuts) with chocolate dipping sauce. If only we couldn’t stop eating, we’d eat these forever.
Overall, we had the loveliest of evenings. The attention to detail in the restaurant is truly breathtaking, from the professional staff to the aged Italian wooden tables you dine from. If you like Italian food then we promise you will fall in love with Siro.
