Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen & Bar Opening First Florida Location

New restaurant to open in one of the fastest growing communities in the United States – the Villages

Hope you’re hungry! Big, bold flavors are coming to heart of The Villages with the opening of Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen & Bar.

Dishes on the menu center around the heart and soul of hometown favorites, but are created with Fieri’s unique and bold twist. Dig into the Trash Can Nachos packed with smoked brisket, bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, SMC (super melty cheese), and jalapenos. Or, if you prefer a fresh catch, try the Apricot-Jalapeno Glazed Salmon or Mussels Frites, cold water PEI mussels, hefeweizen-lemon broth, thyme, roasted tomatoes. Step back in time to enjoy Steak Diane. Another classic takes a modern twist, Meatloaf with six-cheese Mac n Cheese. Or bite into the award-winning Bacon Mac n Cheese burger. There are also other gourmet sandwiches on the menu. Finish off the meal with a slice of NY Marbled Cheesecake or Caramel Apple Bread Pudding with whiskey crème anglaise.

“We are excited to bring the Guy Fieri brand to the Villages. The name will bring guests in and the food will bring them back,” says Gregory Pranzo, restaurant developer.

Located at Lake Sumter Landing on Old Camp Road, this will be the first Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar in Florida and just the eighth in the world. The 6,000 square foot restaurant has the capacity to seat 170 inside and 45 outside. More than 90 people have been hired to staff the restaurant; training is underway now.

The Villages booming and active population played into choosing this location for the restaurant. Residents can hop in their golf carts and head to Guy’s for a guaranteed good time for lunch or dinner. Sunday brunch will also be offered. The average ticket price will range from $9 to $25.
