Fred’s Cellar is an exciting speakeasy. While you dine, you are sure to be enjoying great music in an atmosphere of intrigue. We started our evening with cocktails, a must at Fred’s Cellar. We ordered the Sazerac and Everything But The Kitchen Sink. Both cocktails were terrific. Our fine server James ensured that our evening was smooth.

 

The Sazerac: Templeton’s Rye, Absinthe, and Peychauf’s Bitters.

Everything But The Kitchen Sink: St. Augustine Vodka, St. Augustine Gin, Cabeza Tequila, Old St. Pete Sweet Corn Whiskey, The Bitter Truth Elderflower Liquer, and Blueberry Syrup.

For Starters, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Toast and Bacon Sticks. The Wild Mushroom Toast was made with House Ricotta, Basil, and Pecorino; a rich and robust flavor. The Bacon Sticks were made with Maple-Bourbon, Black Pepper, and Cocoa Nib; and was the perfect amount of savory. Both the Wild Mushroom Toast and Bacon Sticks were unforgettable starters that you will order again and again.

 

For our Entrée, we had the Fennel Rubbed Strip Steak with Paprika Butter and Fried Onion. This melt-in-your-mouth Strip Steak was simply outstanding.
