The Magical Dining Menu at Tapa Toro surely captures the essence of Spanish flavor. Listen to the Spanish Guitar while a Flamenco dancer passionately dances. Relish in the lively atmosphere of Tapa Toro while you dine.

We began our evening with two cocktails: the Corazón de España and Ibiza’s Sunset. The Corazón de España consists of Death’s Door Gin, Seasonal Herbs, Clementine, Fever Tree Tonic, and Juniper Berries. Akin to a Gin and Tonic, we recommend this smooth cocktail for those who love Juniper Berries – the mother of Gin.

Ibiza’s Sunset is made of EG Windsor, Absolut Raspberry, Pomegranate Syrup, Lime Soda, and Lime. As the name suggests the presentation is similar to pastel Mediterranean sunsets. This smooth, fruity cocktail is on the sweeter side.

Appetizers

Our meal started with Ham Croquettes and a Farro Salad. The Ham Croquettes, with Béchamel, Manchengo Cheese, and Aioli, were crispy on the outside with a melt-in-your-mouth inside.

The Farro Salad, with Cucumber, Tomatoes, Onions, Radish, Peas, Spinach, and Sherry Dressing, is a fitting dish for Florida Weather – light, filling, and healthy! The texture of the salad was crisp, and the dish tasted fresh and invigorating.

Entrées

For our main courses, we chose the Roasted Pork and Vegetarian Paella. The Roasted Pork with Stewed White Beans, Chorizo, Salsa Verde, and Chicharrones was a thrill. The addition of Chorizo and Chicharrones overwhelmingly pushed the already dynamic flavor of this dish to new heights.

The Vegetarian Paella consisted of a Mushroom Medley, Grilled Asparagus, Peppers, Tomatoes, and Calasparra Rice. One has the option to add Meat to the Paella, and we chose to add Chicken. In all sincerity, the Paella tasted like authentic Paella from Spain. If you close your eyes after taking a bite of the Paella, while listening to the sound of the Flamenco Dancer and the Spanish Guitar, you may believe you are in Valencia, Barcelona, or Seville.

Dessert

To conclude our evening, we ordered the Crema Catalana and Churros for dessert. Devour fluffy and rich Churros while dipping between Dulce De Leche and Chocolate Sauce. Elysium has arrived.

The Crema Catalana, or Catalan Cream, combines Orange, Fresh Mint, and Sugar Glass. This saccharine dessert is a great choice for those who enjoy crème brûlée.
