This Saturday, August 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The Ravenous Pig will host an End of Summer Pig Vs. Gator Roast. Swine Family Chefs Rhys Gawlak and Nick Sierputowski along with chef owners James and Julie Petrakis welcome Food Network Top Chef competitor Kenny Gilbert for this special event.  Visiting Chef Kenny Gilbert, who started cooking Thanksgiving dinners at the age of 11 grew to have numerous accomplishments at a very young age including participation on Food Network’s Season 7 Top Chef, becoming a Chef de Cuisine at the Ritz Carlton by age 23 and cooking for President Bush while in office.  One of Chef Kenny’s specialties is smoking a whole gator, and what better way to test your taste buds than to smoke a hog right next to it at The Ravenous Pig!
