Twelve-time Grammy® Award-winner and international superstar, Shakira has announced plans to embark on her El Dorado World Tour, presented by Rakuten. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will feature many of her catalog hits and kicks off on November 8 in Cologne, Germany and includes stops throughout Europe and the U.S. Shakira plays Orlando’s Amway Center on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 30 at 10 a.m.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of Shakira’s 11th studio album release, “El Dorado,” which hit number one on iTunes in 37 countries and held five of the top 10 spots on the iTunes Latino Chart within hours of its release. The five time platinum album, including her already massive global hits – “La Bicicleta,” “Chantaje,” “Me Enamoré,” and “Déjà vu”- currently holds the top spot on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums, marking her sixth number one album on this chart. Her single, “Chantaje,” featuring Maluma, is 16 time diamond-certified, while its video currently has been viewed over 1.4 billion times, making it the fifth fastest video to reach one billion views worldwide and working its way to soon be the most viewed video of her entire catalogue.

Over the course of Shakira’s career, the Colombian singer-songwriter has sold over 60 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards including two Grammys®, eight Latin Grammys®, and several World Music Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. She is also the only South American artist to have a number one song in the U.S., and has had four of the 20 top-selling hits of the last decade.
